Archipelago Lost!

So I missed out on American Idol tonight! I KNOW! [gasp! take away my gay playa's card.] But apparently, from what I hear, pedophiles and tweens everywhere are crying up a storm because David Archuleta lost.  I'm shizzocked too! I thought he was cute enough to win it but I guess not.  I didn't really follow this season, (or any season for that matter because I actually have a life and would be out enjoying life as opposed to being a couch potater) but What The Buck would fill me in on the goings ons. With David Cook's win, I'm def. over American Idol. This season would've been 10x better if Danny Noriega was never voted off. But lets talk about more important things...

This weekend my first camping trip ever is planned!! Never done it and I'm finally getting that cherry popped. Travis and his friends have invited me and my own friends have advised I should keep my complaining to a minimum. I told them I would try. But being w.o my internet and cellphone for a day and a half will prove to be quite the challenge for me. Those guttural cries you'll be hearing over the weekend at night will be me, suffering from withdrawals.

In other news, Things That Currently Annoy Me:

1.) Its cold outside.  WTF is up that, its like almost June and I gotta still be wearing sweaters. This ain't Ontario!

2.) The laundry machines still haven't been placed back in the newly remodeled laundry room (its been like 2 months now...).  I was doing my laundry at Axel's laundry mat but now that he's working at a restaurant, I no longer have that hook-up. I feel that I'm imposing when I ask Travis if I can do laundry at this place.

3.) I got the promotion but not the perks to go with it. Just more responsibility. =/

4.) I haven't drank or partied in a while, that its been so long I was trying to remember when the last time was to detail it and I can't. Now that's sad. I plan on being trashed this weekend while camping to make up for lost time.

5.) Sean Cody needs to post new vids a lot quicker than every other or two days.

Get Outta My head

I was at JR's a while ago, on their trivia night, and the following song was and answer to a trivia question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-KWEbRRM-o. This song brought back memories of that simpler time of life, and a time when I actually listened to radio stations, regularly. It has constantly been playing in my head, and youtube-ing it at work, didn't get it out of my system. Also, since then, I've been remembering other songs from that time period, and truly considering which ones I can "sing", the next time I go to a karaoke place. Also, if YOU wanna join, and/or have a song in mind, let me know!

Score One for the good guys...

Yes, Yes!!! I fought the battle and won. Against whom... Town. Myself and Town danceboutique have never seen eye to eye, and usually I'm the one who loses, but not this time. Yes, the perspective of winning and losing is only in my mind, but I don't care a win is a win. But saturday night was my most enjoyable time at Town, ever. Freddy you missed out. What made it so good, I took a lesson from the general outlook of DC. Forget everyone, and focus on yourself and the people you care about. So I just hung with my friends and enjoyed town for the little its worth(although its so expensive, hmmm). The group was about 11 of us, and it was a mingling of 3 different sets of my friends, which doesn't happen often, *cough cough* (tim, always almost making it out). But it was pretty awesome, and I'm glad it worked out.
It was also Adam's 21st bday, and I'm glad I was able to help celebrate it with him. Adam might have been the first gay friend that I met, whom I still talk to and can hang out with. Its crazy how time flies. But we went for Thai food, and did Karaoke at dikbar. And his friend Zack... he went off and sang that Tina Turner song, amazingly. I wish I had a tenth of his energy and stage presence.
Lastly, I believe this was the first time I ever took my camera out AND actually took pictures. Check 'em out in facebook. Although, you can see why I don't usually take pictures... cuz I take one good picture out of every 70, so yeah. I even took one with freddy on the way back home on sunday, but my pose didn't make the cut... sorry freddy cuz it was a good picture of you.

I came, I fought(drank), I conquered(had a good time)... Take That, town.
