A new goal of mine is to live in the now. In the present. I tend to dwell on past decisions or be making decisions for a future benefit. A lot of people are concerned with future and past times, but it is the present that is most important and necessary. So hopefully this means less planning, scheduling and overthinking. And just going with my gut. It may be ironic that i'm planning on planning less, but whatever.
Also, you may, or may not have heard... but I'm a perfectionist. Even though that it has the potential for everything I do, to be "better". There also are a few downsides. First, my expectations of myself and sometimes others are raised to high levels. So when others and myself fall short of the bar, its easy for me to get disappointed. And there are also times, when I avoid doing something altogether, because I think it won't be good enough. This is one reason for why I blog once a week. I make attempts, but sometimes I just don't feel those posts are "worthy" or good enough for I'moveryourface. But that will change, I hope.

OOH! Get Your Mind Out The Gutter...

Another weekend ends, another insane amount of money spent while drunk. I really need to learn how to budget while extremely intoxicated. That or give my credit card to someone to hide for me when we go out. Friday was payday so I figured I should go out and sow some oats. Out of the people I invited to come dance, Axel, Kirk, and Helen were the only "do-shows". Justin, unfortunately, thought he was too cool for school to show up with us and though he eventually made it to the club, it was definitely about the time we were leaving. Helen was getting her cherry popped for the first time by going to a gay club and I wanted to make the event as special for her as it was the first time I got my cherry popped drunk off my ass at a gay watering hole. At some point in the night I blacked out but fortunately, today at work Helen was able to fill those blank points for me while I dried the tears from my eyes from laughing so hard at my stupidity. The night involved a Metro ride which was interrupted by an unplanned exit because both Axel and I had to relieve ourselves. After getting back on Kirk thought it would be cool to film us on his camera. I was just glad my hair looked phenom. I noticed a lot of people in Nats gear and so I wondered if there had been a game of some sort. I asked the passengers next to us who thought it would be funny to fool the gay boy and say that we played some team, which wasn't even a baseball team. Of course I fell for it and was the reason for the chuckles from this dude and his son. Axel then was like " I love football!" I <3>
Now for the reason of the picture. I go on my date with Travis and it goes really well. The convo is great, the setting is beautiful. He takes me to historical Ellicott City which is really pretty. We grab a bite, and walk through this pathway in a forest. I mention how I wanted a pet chicken and he like gets sooo excited because he tells me that as a kid he had a pet chicken named Matilda. Que cool!!! I was like, "serendipitydoo!" I still want a pet chicken but many people have told me that they smell and need a lot of space to roam about and cluck and what not. So i haven't figured all that out yet. But I will. Helen supports me. And come on! How cool would it be to put a leash on a chicken and go for a walk w. it!! aaaah! anyway, the rest of my date with Travis goes really well. I end up spending the night, watching Hairspray. That movie was def. overrated. I could've done w.o. He drives me to work today and the whole day I bitch and moan about how tired I am and how I just wanna go home and sleep. Its 1:26 am and my ass is still up and I def. should've been in bed an hour and a half ago. So...yah...that's the weekend...
